Cosmetic Surgery

Your eyes can tell a lot about you — including how old you are. If you suffer from wrinkling, puffiness, or sagging of the eyelids, you may even appear much older than you actually are. More and more men and women are noticing just how big of an impact a procedure like eyelid surgery can have on their overall appearance. By correcting these signs of aging around the eyes, it is possible to take years off your look.

Blepharoplasty

Removes the extra eyelid skin that is limiting a patient’s vision. This is an outpatient surgery that takes about 1 hour. You can go home the same day. Swelling and bruising will gradually disappear in a couple of weeks.

Brow Lift (Direct)

Removes eyebrow skin above the brow line in order to elevate the drooping brow that is limiting a patient’s vision. Direct brow elevation is best used for patients with localized small-to-moderate amounts of eyebrow ptosis (droop) who preferably have thick eyebrows. Scarring can be marked and is obvious in patients with light brows, especially in redheads. This is an outpatient surgery that takes about 1 hour. You can go home the same day. Swelling and bruising will gradually disappear in a couple of weeks.

Ectropion Repair

The surgeon will remove a small part of your lower eyelid at the outer edge. When the lid is sutured back together, the tendons and muscles of the lid will be tightened, causing the lid to rest properly on the eye. You’ll have a few stitches on the outside corner of your eye or just below your lower eyelid. This is an outpatient surgery that takes about 1 hour. You can go home the same day. Swelling and bruising will gradually disappear in a couple of weeks.
